Mrs. Gadsden A. Linton III

Mary Eliza Hoffman of Charleston, South Carolina and Gadsden Alexander Linton III of Summerville, South Carolina, were married on Saturday July 18, 2009, at the Church of the Holy Communion in Charleston, South Carolina. The Rev. Jeffrey F. Richardson performed the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at The Wickliffe House.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Bingham Hoffman of Charleston, South Carolina. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.T. Iglehart, Jr. of Rockville, Maryland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ward Hoffman of Red Hook, New York. She earned a BSA in Interior Design from Winthrop University and is an Interior Designer with GJS Architects.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gadsden Alexander Linton, Jr. of Summerville, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Pauline Linton and the late Mr. Gadsden Alexander Linton of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Mr. Edwin Owczasz and the late Mrs. Mary Owczasz of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and is a Civil Engineer with Forsberg Engineering.

Eleanor Morgan Hoffman was maid of honor. Bride's attendants were Megan E. Linton, Julia Meriwether Buice, Sarah C. Dawson, Lorna Webster and Laura M. Wingo. Best man was Ryan Patrick Linton. Groomsmen were Matthew Dennis, Bryan J. Glass, Jeffrey E. Pearl, Ryan J. Sands and Lucas M. Stemple.

A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's parents on Gold Bug Island on Friday, June 17,2009. The couple will honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico and will reside in Charleston, South Carolina.
