Doris Carmichael -
Ms. Doris Carmichael, R.N., B.S.N joined the faculty in 1999 and serves as Associate Professor of Nursing and LPN Program Director. Ms. Carmichael received her LPN Certificate from Bainbridge College, associate degree from Darton College, bachelor’s degree in nursing from Albany State University and her masters degree is in progress at Regis University. She has coauthored NCLEX review materials and is faculty advisor for the BC LPN Club where she is dedicated to improving the quality of health through nursing and community education of health issues. Wanda Green -
Ms. Green, R.N. joined the faculty in as a part-time instructor in 2003 and a full time instructor in 2004. She has been the Clinical Coordinator for the LPN Program since becoming full-time. Ms. Green has an Associates Degree in nursing from Darton College. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in nursing. Ms. Green still holds a part-time position as a Charge Nurse at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital and Seminole Manor. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is also one of the coauthors of the NCLEX review book "Exam Cram". Since joining BC faculty, Ms. Green has been actively involved with the LPN club. and has recently become a faculty sponsor for the BC LPN Club. Michele Miller -
Michele L. Miller, R.N. has served as an instructor in the LPN program since the July of 2004. She currently teaches Maternal-Newborn & Child Nursing. Ms. Miller is working on her bachelor’s degree from the State University of West Georgia, which she will complete December of 2005. She joined the B.C faculty as a Certified Oncology Nurse with almost ten years experience developing and implementing patient and staff educational programs in the Atlanta area. She is one of the coauthors of the NCLEX review book "Exam Cram". Since joining BC faculty, Mrs. Miller has been actively involved with the LPN club.. Recently Ms. Miller has become a faculty sponsor for the BC LPN Club. Ms. Miller’s future goal is to pursue her Masters in Nursing Education. Gena Peterson
Gena Peterson joined the LPN staff in May of 2004 as a full time instructor. Two years prior to becoming a full-time instructor, Ms. Peterson was a part-time phlebotomy instructor. Ms. Peterson teaches Nursing Fundamentals as well as phlebotomy at B. C. She is a CPR & Safety and First aid instructor for the AHA. Ms. Peterson wears many hats, as a supervisor on the weekends at Seminole Manor for the past 6 years. She has 2 years of experience with hospice as a nursing home team leader. She also has 3 years experience as charge nurse in the E.R. and on the floor at Donalsonville Hospital. Ms. Peterson is a LPN club sponsor and coauthor of the Exam Cram NCLEX review book. As if she has nothing else to do, she was nominated to be the LPN faculty secretary. Ms. Peterson does a great job in which ever hat she wears.
