Step one: Define General Education Learning Outcomes:
- An aim of general education is to attain the skills in quantification necessary for further
growth as a lifespan-learner and productive member of society
Students will be asked the question: Based on your experiences at Bainbridge College, have your courses helped you develop your
quantification skills?
Step two: Define Measurable Outcomes:
- Students will perform basic Arithmetic operations on: whole numbers, fractions, decimals
- Students should be able to use exponents
- Students should be able to find square roots using a calculator
- Students should be able to use correct order of operations
- Students should be able to read a word problem and use necessary operations required to solve the problem
- Students should be able to use formulas to solve problems, using basic arithmetic procedures
- Students should will have translating skills which allow interpretation of numerical data
Step three: Develop Assessment Instrument:
- Place statement here
- Place statement here
- Place statement here
Step four: Administer Assessment Instrument:
- Set date for assessment
- who will be tested?
Step five: Compare Assessment Outcomes To Measurable Outcomes:
Step six: Elements of Redesigned Program:
- Place statement here
- Place statements here
- Place assessment statements here
