Computer Services: The Library houses a Computer Center as well as other computers throughout the library available for those with a valid BC library card. Please remember that unattended children/teenagers are not permitted access to computers. See the college computer use policy.

Printing: Bainbridge College students are allowed to print from library computers at no charge.  However, to continue to receive free printing you need to make sure that you only print the information that you need and that is related to research or class work.  To help cut down on printing excesses, you can only print 10 pages at a time.  For example, if you need to print 24 pages, you would click file > print, and next to the Pages option enter 1-10, repeat the process, and put in 11-20, and then 21-24.  That will ensure that you get the entire article.  If you need to print more than one copy of a paper, you have to print each copy separately.

BooksAbout our collection: The book collection has more than doubled since opening day, reaching a size of over 40,950 volumes. The book collection is composed of materials that are carefully chosen to support the students' academic requirements as well as to provide more in-depth reading for those who are interested. Currently, the collection provides access to some 600 periodical titles in both hard copy and microfilm. Back issues extend, in some cases, into the early years of the twentieth century. Of additional interest is the digitized archives of the Bainbridge Post-Searchlight with editions dating from 1866 to the present

The library's catalog is available online through Georgia Interconnected Libraries (GIL). GIL allows patrons to search library holdings from Bainbridge College and other libraries in the state university system and access patron information such as checkouts, fines, and holds. Non-print media such as videotapes, compact discs, filmstrips, and slide/tape programs are also available. Read more about searching for resources.

Facilities and equipment available to patrons include cassette duplication service for non-copyrighted tapes, a photocopier, projectors, cassette players, and two soundproof study rooms for group study.

Special Collections. Approximately 75,000 manuscripts make up the archives section of the Library. Included are the papers of former Governor S. Marvin Griffin, former Mayor and State Representative Walter Cox, founder of Donalsonville Colonel John E. Donalson, and former U.S. Representative Maston E. O’Neal, Jr.
