About
the Course
Tech
1120 emphasizes fundamental mathematical skills that can be applied
to the solution of occupational and technical problems. Students
must have exited Tech 0085 or passed the Basic Math portion of the
COMPASS (score of 37 or higher) to take this course.
Technology Requirements
Windows 98 or higher operating system, Internet
access, email account, Student Access kit for MyMathLab that is
purchased with text.
Technical Math courses are run through Georgia View. Students must
purchase the student access kit to log into the course. Student
access kits may be purchased in the college bookstore or online.

How
to Succeed
Work consistently in the course and meet all due
dates. Some of the material available to you in the course include a
multimedia library with lecture videos and PowerPoint
presentations. The assignments in the course are self-grading and
can be redone until mastery is achieved.
Tests
may only be taken once and must be taken during the time period that
they are online.
