What a Learning Support Conference we have coming up March 30-April 1 at the Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons! We have not one but TWO nationally acclaimed authors/speakers joining us— Hunter Boylan will speak Sunday evening, and Wynton Hall will inspire us Monday morning. You can be part of our planning by helping us refine our theme for the conference. We're focusing on the concept of learning support students and/or faculty as everyday heroes overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet both academic and personal goals. In essence, there's a bit of hero in all of us. If your entry is selected as the conference theme, you will receive a complimentary conference registration. The winner will be announced at the Learning Support Directors' meeting on October 18. We look forward to a great conference and hope you'll join us March 30-April 1, 2008! |
