What are course learning outcomes?

They are statements that specify what learners will know or be able to do as a result of passing a class.

What are the characteristics of good learning outcomes?

• The specified action by the learners must be observable.
• The specified action by the learners must be measurable.
• The specified action must be done by the learners.

What should be included in an outcome?

• Who is to perform the action

• What action they are to take (See Bloom's action verbs--)

• What result must come from their action
